Sovereign Centros has announced the opening of community-focused concept, Nike Unite, at Merry Hill. The launch of the 10,165sq ft space marks a regional debut for Nike Unite, as well as being the first for the concept in a shopping centre environment.
Nike Unite stocks sportswear ranges designed to cater to the everyday lifestyles of Merry Hill’s catchment. Its offer includes a wide selection of signature Nike footwear, apparel, and accessories across their women, men, and kids’ collections as well as select seasonal offerings.
Described as ‘a Nike store for the family’, the new store layout is put together with a community-focused lens, displaying the store’s wide range of products in an easily accessible manner for customers.
Alistair Winning, asset manager at Sovereign Centros, commented: “Merry Hill stands at the forefront of retail and leisure within the West Midlands, bringing together a huge array of best-in-class brands under one roof. Nike Unite manages to combine a genuinely local community feel with the prestige that comes with the globally renowned brand, two things that are really well reflected in the overall Merry Hill offer.”
This news follows the opening of schuh kids, the kidswear-focused branch of leading footwear retailer schuh, at Merry Hill. The 4,000 sq ft space features the retailer’s full range of kids’ shoes, trainers, and boots.
