Castlepoint in Bournemouth is set to welcome two new brands to its expanding line-up. Luxury personal care and wellness brand, Rituals, has signed a 10-year lease for a newly created 2,615sq ft unit, while specialist kitchenware brand, ProCook will also be joining the scheme, after signing a 10-year lease for the adjacent 2,863sq ft unit.
Since launching in 2000, Rituals has grown from a single store on the Kalverstraat, Amsterdam, to over 1,100 stores across 33 countries. It further expands Castlepoint’s beauty offering which currently includes big name brands such as Boots, Holland & Barrett and Superdrug.
ProCook, founded 28 years ago in Gloucester as a family business, has grown into the UK’s leading direct-to-consumer specialist kitchenware brand.
The two recent lettings are testament to Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Delancey’s proactive asset management strategy, to curate a leading retail experience at Castlepoint which continues to attract high footfall and leading retailers.
A spokesperson on behalf of the joint venture owners of Castlepoint commented: “It is great that Rituals has selected Castlepoint for its first store in Dorset. This continues a pattern seen with other new and impending arrivals, like Mango and Nike, who choose Castlepoint as a beacon location for their brand presence. We also look forward to welcoming ProCook to the centre as part of the brand’s plan to grow its UK retail footprint to 100 stores over the medium term. Occupier interest in the scheme remains high and we are making real strides in curating our tenant mix to meet consumer demand for big name brands.”
Castlepoint is owned in a joint venture on behalf of clients of Delancey and Columbia Threadneedle Investments. The retained leasing agents are Curson Sowerby Partners and Morgan Williams.
Rituals was represented by Curson Sowerby Partners and ProCook was advised by Newmark.
