Global brand unveils first northern flagship at Manchester Arndale
intu and M&G Real Estate have signed international fashion brand Uniqlo for its north of England debut at Manchester Arndale. The Japanese fashion brand has signed a 15-year lease on 21,000 sq ft of the former Bhs store on Market Street. This will be the brand’s 12th UK store and only the fourth outside of London.
Manchester Arndale has sharpened its fashion focus with recent arrivals Ralph Lauren, Monki and Gap and multi-brand boutiques like Tessuti and Scotts.
Kannika Mall, asset manager at M&G Real Estate, saiud: “The arrival of Uniqlo at Manchester Arndale is a real point of success for the centre, which continues to build its fashion credentials with a wider range of new and exciting brands than ever before.
