Australian retailer Typo opens first store in the South West at Southgate, Bath
Australian stationery and gifting retailer, Typo, has opened its first store in the South West at Southgate, Bath, which is owned by Aviva Investors and British Land. Typo launched online in the UK two years ago, and has been growing its store presence to meet customer demands.
Known for its quirky stationery and gifts, Typo offers something for everyone across a range of categories including travel and tech accessories, bags, lighting and décor items and novelty cards.
SouthGate is a prime open air regional scheme next to Bath Spa railway station. The centre is home to some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Debenhams, Topshop/Topman, H&M, Hollister, Apple, River Island, Urban Outfitters, All Saints, Superdry and Pandora. Earlier this year, Spanish chef Omar Allibhoy’s Tapas Revolution and Smash Burger opened debut restaurants in the city along with Pret A Manger and MAC opened its first stand-alone store in the region.
