Cotswold Outdoor and Runners Need arrives in Highcross, Leicester
Hammerson has signed Cotswold Outdoor and Runners Need are to join the retail line-up at Highcross shopping centre, marking debuts for both brands in Leicester.
Due to open later this year, Outdoor & Cycle Concepts’ first store in Leicester will be an 8,800-sq ft unit, situated in the centre’s East Mall, alongside Waterstones, Urban Outfitters and Smiggle. Runners Need will be incorporated into the space, alongside Cotswold Outdoor, with an area designated to the brand within the store.
Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Hammerson said: “The trend for athleisure and well-being products continues to grow in popularity, so both brands are ideally placed to capitalise. Already a retail, dining and leisure hub for leading brands it is encouraging to see Leicester continuing to go from strength to strength as occupiers look to expand across the UK into the very best regional destinations.”
