Loungers and the Gym group join Redrock Stockport line up
Another 19,400 sq ft of space has been let at Redrock Stockport as Loungers and The Gym Group add their names to the growing line up. The additions mean that the new £45m leisure destination in South Manchester is now 90 per cent let, with tenants reporting that initial trading figures are significantly exceeding forecasts.
Loungers has already begun fitting out its new Berretto Lounge in a 4,400-sq ft unit that overlooks the public square linking Redrock with Stockport’s main retail centre, while the Gym group has also signed up to take a 15,000-sq ft double unit. The Gym Group and Loungers join a growing line up at Redrock which includes The Light Cinema, PizzaExpress, Zizzi, Mangobean Coffee and Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
Cllr Kate Butler, Stockport Council’s cabinet member for economy and regeneration said “The success of the Redrock development is integral to our continuing town centre regeneration plans and with visitor numbers already exceeding all expectations. We’ve a lot to be proud of in Stockport and Redrock is proving a big hit with locals and visitors alike.”
