Queensberry adds Fitness Space and David Clulow Opticians to Guildford line-up
Fitness Space and David Clulow Opticians have both signed to open at Tunsgate Quarter, the new 80,000-sq ft retail and restaurant development in Guildford town centre. Fitness Space is one of the industry’s fastest growing boutique gym operators, and, established in 1962, David Clulow Opticians is the destination store for contemporary designer eyewear.
Opened in March 2018, Tunsgate Quarter is home to lifestyle brands including Loaf, OKA, The White Company, Cath Kidston and Bobbi Brown. The centre has also introduced a diverse dining offer including The Ivy Castle View, Cosy Club and Pho.
Developed by Queensberry and asset managed by CBRE, Tunsgate Quarter is now 85% let or in solicitors’ hands, by floorspace. The centre has 18 shops and eight restaurants.
Stuart Harris, commercial director and co-founder at Queensberry, said: “David Clulow is a great addition to our curated retail mix, whilst Fitness Space will provide an innovative, technology-led leisure offer within the town. As the trend towards fitness and wellbeing continues to grow, Fitness Space will add a new dimension to the centre’s leisure offer, supporting our vision for an all-day destination.”
Joint leasing agents are Bruce Gillingham Pollard and Cushman & Wakefield. Stephen Kane & Company acted on behalf of David Clulow.
