Investor secures two Lidls and an Aldi for retail parks
RPMI Railpen (Railpen) has announced the signing of three new supermarkets to its property portfolio: two Lidl stores and an Aldi.
The Lidl stores are located in North West London on the ground floor of St Anns shopping centre in Harrow in a 16,000 sq ft unit, and in Gravesend, Kent, in a 25,000 sq ft unit space
Aldi has signed for a 18,152 sq ft store with Railpen positioned within Gallagher Retail Park in Scunthorpe and willo pen in early 2020.
Richard van Lente, senior asset and development manager at Railpen said:
“Both supermarket brands are significant additions to our property portfolio, and will have a positive impact in each of the areas in which they are to open, particularly with regard to local prosperity and job creation.
“The acquirement of these brands is a direct reflection of our core investment themes and broader strategy to diversify our overall offering whilst generating growth across the UK.”
