New foodhall to open in Stretford
Store Retail Group has acquired a new 6,000-sq ft store at the entrance to the Stretford Mall in Greater Manchester for a Simply Fresh Foodhall. The space, which was formerly occupied by Argos, has been subdivided to create a retail unit for Store! at ground floor and for Pure Gym on the first floor. Store has taken a new 15-year lease on a turnover rent basis exclusive of rates and service charge.
Iain Minto of M&M Asset Management, on behalf of the landlord, said: “The opening of the Simply Fresh Foodhall concept in Stretford will act as a much-needed fillip for other like-minded retailers and occupiers and will hopefully act as a catalyst to cement an evening economy.”
