Grosvenor has announced the signing of South East Asian bar and brasserie, Mamasan, at Liverpool One. The concept, which focuses on elevated dining, drinks and music, has signed for a 6,875 sq ft space.
Mamasan’s launch at Liverpool One will mark the brand’s second opening. and is due to be unveiled once national lockdown restrictions are eased, designed to accommodate up to 200 covers.
Alison Clegg, managing director of asset management at Grosvenor Britain & Ireland said: “We know Liverpool One’s consumers want a higher-end, multi-dimensional dining offer, where they can enjoy a range of experiences that cannot be found elsewhere. The signing of Mamasan fits the bill and also demonstrates that, despite the challenging circumstances for the sector, Grosvenor is able to attract and support growing operators.”
Brad Stevens, Founder of Mamasan, added: “The gap in the market for this kind of experiential dining in Liverpool, combined with the discovery of this attractive and versatile space at Liverpool One, made this an opportunity too good to pass up. It’s been great to have Grosvenor’s support in adapting and preparing Mamasan’s concept for Liverpool One, and we can’t wait to open and deliver the best in elevated South East Asian inspired dining.”
Metis and Savills acted for Liverpool ONE. Pudney Shuttleworth represented Mamasan.
