Halton shopping Centre, Shopping City, has launched a new events space which is now available for businesses to hire for pop-up installations, promotions, screenings, product launches and showcases.
Last month, to mark World Obesity Day, specialist NHS nurses took over the space to offer advice to the Centre’s customers on obesity, diabetes and weight-related health issues.
Now, the space is being made available to independent businesses, helping support them to showcase their brands, acquire new customers and raise their profiles locally.
“We’re very pleased to be diversifying our offering to both businesses and shoppers alike”, said Dave Pearman, centre manager at Shopping City.
“Shopping City has a rich history and as we continue on our path of post-pandemic growth, we’re committed to giving people the best experience when they walk through our doors.
“Our events space is a big part of that commitment, seeking new ways of adding value to the retailers we work with and ensuring that independent businesses across Halton are catered to.
“This week, Coffee King launched its new kiosk in the Centre, opened by brand ambassador and rugby star Martin Offiah, and we have lots of exciting events in the pipeline to coincide with our 50th birthday celebrations. The future at Shopping City is looking very bright indeed.”
