Discount footwear brand to roll out more big box units
Shoe zone is planning to open 20 more big box units in 2019, on top of the 25 that are already open. The news came as the company unveiled pre-tax profits up 18.4% to £11.3m in the 12 months to 30 September 2018.
As at September 2018 Shoe Zone had 19 Big box units that generated £7.1m sales and another 6 opened in the final quarter of 2018.
Chief executive Nick Davis said: “This positive performance is testament to the strength of the core business model and the effective focus on growing the big box and digital channels.”
