RivingtonHark has appointed John Gard as development and asset manager, as part of its continued expansion.
Gard joins from U+I PLC where he led the £120m mixed-use regeneration proposals of Shepherds Bush Market. He also formulated and oversaw the optimisation of Deptford Market Yard’s commercial premises including offices, retail units, F&B units and a 25,000sq ft market yard. He played a key role in advising and assisting on other notable projects such as Caxton Workis and Cambridge Northern Fringe East.
His new role sits in the development team where his focus is on a number of RivingtonHark’s development, placemaking and transformation projects.
Mr Gard said he was “thrilled” to be joining RivingtonHark at such an exciting time: “Having watched the business develop over the last two years, I’m really looking forward to working with the whole team on some incredible projects – adding value where possible and getting stuck in.”
