Vegan dining concept When Polly Met Fergie to debut in Peterborough
Following the rise of veganism across the UK, Lendlease and Invesco Real Estate, the global real estate investment manager, have signed a new vegan restaurant concept, When Polly Met Fergie, to open its UK debut site at Queensgate, Peterborough.
The 1,500-sq ft café, due to open in mid August, will offer plant-based cuisine with a focus on sustainable, healthy produce on the Westgate Arcade.
When Polly Met Fergie will add to Queensgate’s strong existing line-up of restaurant brands including Turtle Bay and Pret a Manger.
Guy Thomas, head of retail at Lendlease, said: “Veganism is one of the UK’s fastest growing lifestyle trends, making When Polly Met Fergie a timely and exciting addition to Queensgate’s Westgate Arcade. We are always keen to welcome local and independent businesses that complement Queensgate’s established retail line-up, and we look forward to welcoming our first ever dedicated vegan operator making its UK debut and extending our dining offer from morning through to the early evening.”
CBRE and Time Retail Partners represented Queensgate.
