Pop-up pizza parlour for Cambridge Leisure Park
Pizza1889 has opened its third pop-up pizza parlour at Landsec’s Cambridge leisure park. Currently trading out of shipping containers in London and Kent, Pizza1889 worked closely with destination media and retail specialist SpaceandPeople to open the new site.
The outlet operates from a specially designed 40ft 10 tonne shipping container holding a state-of-the-art six-foot stone oven which produces heat of around 450 degrees to ensure a traditional pizza cooked within minutes.
A fourth site will launch in Bristol before the end of the year and further openings are lined up for 2019.
