Hammerson signs outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse at Orchard centre.
Mountain Warehouse, the largest outdoor retailer in the UK with over 300 stores worldwide, will open a 2,050-sq ft store at Hammerson’s expanded Orchard centre in Didcot.
The deal follows the recent signing of mother and baby boutique retailer, JoJo Maman Bebe. The Orchard centre already has an attractive line-up of fashion brands including FatFace, designer shoe retailer Soletrader, as well as fashion favourites H&M, River Island, Next and TK Maxx. Café Bar, Berro Lounge has also opened at the centre this August along with Didcot’s first Nando’s restaurant.
Andrew Berger-North, UK director of retail parks at Hammerson, said: “With the recent growth in the health and wellbeing sector, Mountain Warehouse is a great addition for shoppers in the region. We are delighted that the recent expansion continues to attract high quality brands to make their debut in the town.”
