MMX Retail has announced that three new members will be joining the retail and development team.
Rob Williams, Filippa Mudd and Henry Foreman have joined the consultancy from BNP Paribas Real Estate where they worked on a mix of institutional, developer and local authority owned high street, retail and leisure destinations.
All three will be adding their expertise to MMX’s existing services which includes specialist advice ranging from leasing, redevelopment, acquisitions and disposals, to guidance on a huge variety of alternative uses for assets and how they can be repurposed and adapted to align with the changing needs of local communities.
David Justice, partner at MMX Retail, said: “We are delighted to welcome such high calibre colleagues, as Rob and his team, to MMX. Their skills will combine well with the knowledge and experience of our existing team.
“Smaller consultancy agencies, such as MMX, have a vital role to play as the property industry continues to navigate the choppy waters caused, not only by the pandemic, but wider ongoing property industry issues as well, which is why we continue to have the best team in place to support our wide variety of national and international clients.
“Despite the perceived doom and gloom, there is a lot to be positive about, and as the brief break from lockdown before Christmas proved, the public still wants to visit retail focussed venues, whether it is for shopping, leisure, work or for meeting up with family and friends.”
Rob Williams, partner at MMX Retail, said: “Over the last few years I have worked closely with MMX on a number of major projects, so I’m delighted to be joining their wonderful team. I know first-hand the value of the advice that MMX provides for its clients and I hope that Filippa, Henry and I will be able to further add to that expert insight that the team offers.
“I am particularly excited to be working with clients on how to continue to improve a wide breadth of locations including regional centres, town & city centres, multi-use schemes, leisure and out of town venues to help ensure they provide the right mix of amenities that support, entice and create interaction with their local communities.”
