On Thursday November
10, Marylebone Village is inviting shoppers to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with a festive light
switch-on in support of mental health charity partner Mind.
To celebrate, for one day only, a host of Marylebone Village shops, cafes, bars
and restaurants will join together
to offer visitors a range of value-added offers, festive experiences, exclusive
discounts and specially created
menus.
A range of activities will be in full swing across Marylebone Village;
spectators can get into the Christmas spirit with wreath-making,
live illustrations, snow machines, the charity tombola and Santa’s
Grotto, as well as roaming
musicians and a host of food, drink and Christmas gift stalls. The Christmas lights can also be enjoyed from above by taking a
ride on the Ferris Wheel and,
for the festive foodies,
renowned chef, food writer and
TV presenter Celia Brooks will be hosting a series of her food tasting tours, with a Merry Marylebone
twist.
Merry Marylebone will continue throughout the festive season with a series of
special seasonal promotions and
further activations.
This year the Merry Marylebone Christmas campaign, which is organised and funded by The Howard de Walden Estate, will be supporting local charity Mind Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster, supporting local mental health services.
