Following a successful opening of the restaurant’s debut European site in London’s Liverpool Street, Marugame Udon has secured a second opening at The O2 in Greenwich on Monday 13th September.
Marugame Udon has chosen London’s home of live entertainment and music, The O2, as its second restaurant in Europe, ahead of further expansion around London and the continent.
Greenwich locals as well as visitors from around the UK will be treated to a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine from Marugame’s open-style kitchen.
The 4,500 sq ft restaurant at The O2 spanning over two floors will feature 150 covers including a mezzanine for dining in. Those on the go can enjoy takeaway, as well as the pick-up point for click and collect customers.
Janine Constantin-Russell, MD of Icon Outlet and the Entertainment District at The O2 commented: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Marugame Udon to The O2 to bring their fresh Japanese noodles and exciting flavour combinations to our visitors.
“With the reopening of the arena, we’re excited to also be welcoming back music fans to the destination, and Marugame Udon’s quick service style is a fantastic dining option for our visitors to enjoy a bite to eat ahead of a show.”
