The Frenchgate Shopping Centre Doncaster has announced that Irish burger chain, Wowburger, has officially opened its doors within the centre.
Part of the Press Up Hospitality Group, the brand currently has nineteen outlets in Ireland, distributed throughout Dublin, Cork, Wicklow, Westmeath and Waterford.
Karen Staniforth, assistant general manager at Frenchgate, said: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen as the first location in the UK to welcome Wowburger . The restaurant is already starting to make an impact to the local economy with Wowburger creating more than 15 jobs ahead of opening.
Susan Bell, Head of Brand Operations at Wowburger , said: “Our team are unbelievably excited to bring our fantastic burgers to the UK and we found that Frenchgate was the ideal place to launch the chain. We think that the Doncaster public will absolutely love Wowburger .”
