Struggling department store chain to halve estate as part of CVA
House of Fraser is to close 31 of its 59 UK stores, in a further blow to a number of regional malls. In addition it is demanding rent cuts on a further 10 sites under the terms of its proposed CVA. Creditors will vote on the package on 22 June.
