Queensberry secures new Swedish fashion brands for Heart of the City II
H&M’s Monki and Weekday brands have becoming the first new retail outlets to sign up to the £470m Heart of the City II project in Sheffield. The brands will be located in 5,221 and 8,379 sq ft respectively on the ground floor of Grosvenor House – the new flagship office for HSBC – and are expected to open in November, ahead of the busy Christmas period.
Heart of The City II is Sheffield City Council’s ambitious plan to transform its city centre into a vibrant mix of residential, retail and lifestyle space. It is the largest ever development to take place in Sheffield featuring new roads, public spaces and heritage alongside a compelling retail and residential offer.
Jocelyn Holmes, senior leasing manager, at Queensberry, said: “Monki and Weekday have really bought into the vision for the city centre and see it as the perfect location to expand their brands. Sheffield will be home to the first Monki in Yorkshire and the first Weekday outside of London, which is a real coup.”
