Peel L&P has announced over 15,000sq ft of new lettings at Gloucester Quays across 2022, with British bath, body and beauty retailer, Molton Brown, the latest premium brand to take space at the designer outlet.
Molton Brown has opened within a 2,184sq ft unit opposite Le Creuset. The space features dedicated areas for each of its collections, including an exclusive ‘Home’ range of candles, diffusers and oils.
Earlier this year, Levi’s upsized within the destination, making its Gloucester Quays location the brand’s largest flagship outlet in the UK. The retailer more than doubled its presence with the new 5,000 q ft space, stocking its comprehensive range of women’s, men’s and kid’s clothing.
Eden Menswear also opened in 2022, offering a selection of suits, casual clothing and footwear from high-quality brands, while British lifestyle clothing retailer Fat Face returned to the destination with a 2,100sq ft store.
Paul Carter, asset director at Peel L&P, commented: “It has been an extremely positive year for retail at Gloucester Quays and we have been proud to welcome so many well-renowned brands to the destination. The commitment of iconic retailers like Molton Brown and Levi’s is a huge vote of confidence in the outlet, adding further range to the destination’s top-quality tenant mix. We look forward to continuing this success into next year and are excited to add many more premium retailers to our already diverse line-up.”
Gloucester Quays is now well into the swing of Christmas, celebrating the season with late-night shopping, an Open Air Ice Rink and festive markets offering street food and gifts. It is undertaking a series of community focused initiatives including providing space for a foodbank operator to store food, supporting tenants with a ‘random act of kindness’ scheme for customers and working with the local church to provide support for the most vulnerable.
The winter festivities will bring a lively 2022 to a close for Gloucester Quays, following the success of its Summer Food Festival, which saw a 63% increase in footfall and an 11% increase in sales compared with last year.
