St James Quarter, the 1.7m sq ft city centre development in the heart of Edinburgh, has celebrated its topping out with the installation of the centrepiece of the £1bn mixed-use destination – the striking W Edinburgh.
The completion of the landmark building signals a major milestone for the most significant transformation Edinburgh has seen in a generation.
Set to open the shopping, dining and leisure elements in spring 2021 and the W Edinburgh in 2022, St James Quarter will offer the city a new shopping galleria, an mix of restaurants and bars, a boutique Everyman Cinema, a Roomzzz Aparthotel, 152 premium homes, and an events programme in a range of new and attractive public spaces.
