Cornhill Quarter regeneration programme has reached a major milestone with the completion of Phase 3 this week, following the opening of the Everyman Cinema and The Botanist.
The Botanist cocktail bar and restaurant has opened its 8,000 sq ft bar and restaurant venue, split over ground and first floors with additional outdoor seating.
The four-screen Everyman Cinema has opened with a roof terrace bar offering views of Lincoln Cathedral and Exchange Square below.
Crispin Lilly, CEO of Everyman Cinemas said: “We feel so privileged to be able to announce the opening of our very special new venue in Lincoln. It has been a busy time of course reopening our existing venues post lockdown, but to be opening here for the first time is incredibly exciting.
“From the care we’ve taken over designing our bar and lounge space, the great food and drink menu or our fabulous hospitality, we think we’ve achieved something very special in Lincoln and we’re really looking forward to welcoming guests through the doors.”
Ursula Lidbetter, Lincolnshire co-op’s chief executive, commented: “This is a game changer for Lincoln. The Botanist and Everyman Cinema are high-calibre national brands that will boost confidence in Lincoln and all that the City has to offer. We have curated a blend of retail and leisure brands at The Cornhill Quarter to give Lincoln an added edge and appeal which will attract visitors from far afield, with all the positive economic impact that brings for other businesses in the area.
Lincolnshire Co-op is represented by KLM Retail and Banks Long & Co.
