Patisserie Valerie latest signing at The Lanes, Carlisle
Capreon, the Noé Group real estate business, has let 1,394 sq ft of ground floor and 430 sq ft of first floor ancillary space to Patisserie Valerie in the Lanes shopping centre, Carlisle. The new store, located on English Street in the heart of the centre, will open in April 2018.
The letting continues the recent trend of attracting new and improved tenants into the centre and builds on the success of recent brands including Primark and Costa and the re-commitment of other key retailers including JD Sports and Bodycare on new straight 10-year leases. These recent additions showcase the attraction of the centre and its catchment area which have generated a double digit increase in pedestrian footfall from 2016 to 2017.
The Lanes was expanded to 415,000 sq ft in 2000 and is the largest shopping centre in Cumbria. The 81 retail stores within the centre include national brand stores such as Debenhams, Next, New Look, Superdrug, Holland & Barratt and Ernest Jones.
