Grosvenor has announced that Gordon Ramsay’s premium casual dining concept, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at Liverpool One, has officially opened.
The restaurant’s first UK location outside of London, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar is sited at unit 7a/b and unit 105 on Paradise Street in a 6,000 sq ft restaurant unit.
The restaurant has appointed chef Gareth Jones as executive head chef. Jones has previously appeared on Great British Menu and has spent his professional career in the North West, working as Head Chef at La Brasserie at The Chester Grosvenor, as well as Head Chef at Mr Coopers House and Garden by Simon Rogan.
Ingredients for the menu have been sourced regional suppliers, including Lake District Farmers for meat, Neve Fleetwood for fish and Wellocks for fresh produce.
The space caters to 163 covers indoors and 32 outdoors, and the restaurant has an 8-seater kitchen table experience with the chef and an intimate bar area serving cocktails.
Alison Clegg, managing director of asset management at Grosvenor, commented: “We are very pleased Bread Street Kitchen & Bar has now opened at Liverpool One. The restaurant will provide another quality option to our ever growing food and beverage offering.”
Andy Wenlock, CEO of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants added: “We are delighted to have opened Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at Liverpool One, our first UK location outside of London. The destination presents the perfect location to continue our growth, offering the perfect blend of vibrancy, culinary culture and high footfall.
“We have put a tremendous amount of work into the restaurant and have sought to establish a close connection to the area by choosing quality local suppliers and an esteemed head chef who has spent his career in the north-west.”
