Bracknell town centre has transformed into a watery extravaganza for the Forest Springs event in collaboration between Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon, celebrating one of earth’s most precious elements: water.
The event features art installations, entertainers, an education hub, canopies and a host of immersive activities.
The centrepiece of the activity is ‘As Water Falls ’, an art installation where digital and natural elements combine to create an immersive experience centred around a large-scale interactive waterwall.
Rob Morris, general manager at The Lexicon said: “After so many months of planning, it is great to see the many elements that make up this spectacular event become live.
“We hope there is something for everyone to enjoy and look forward to seeing visitors’ reactions throughout the Easter holidays.”
Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration at Bracknell Forest Council, commented: “Forest Springs will provide the perfect mix of exciting interactive activities and spaces for quiet reflection. I can’t wait to hear what aspect of the event visitors say is their favourite.”
