Northern Ireland designer outlet, The Boulevard in Bandrige, has reported a record Easter week of trading.
The Lotus Property owned shopping destination, welcomed a larger number of visitors to the scheme over the Easter break, with footfall on the rise by +13% compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
The Boulevard, located on the A1 corridor between Belfast and Dublin, continues to see a high volume of visitors from both sides of the border who are splashing the cash when onsite as this Easter’s sales saw a staggering increase of +22% compared to 2019.
Chris Nelmes, retail director at The Boulevard said: “Our aim is always to welcome as many people as possible to The Boulevard on school holidays but also to ensure that guests are entertained, have an enjoyable experience and already begin planning their next visit before they’ve even left the car park.
“We invested more than ever in our Easter activities this year and ensured there was an entertaining programme that stretched right across Easter week for the whole family to enjoy. With thanks to our extensive retail offering and activities available, the mall was busy all weekend with families and fashionistas alike.”
With positive footfall and sales figures and a steady announcement of new store signings over the last few years, the Lotus Property owned outlet has gone from strength to strength and continues to buck the retail downturn trends being experienced elsewhere.
