Savills place-shaping & marketing appointed to develop south-east London BID
Savills Place has been appointed to develop a BID in West Wickham following a feasibility study undertaken during October 2018. Having already developed Bids in the borough for both Beckenham and Penge, alongside Bromley in 2016, the Savills place-shaping & marketing team will now focus on developing a formal BID Steering Group to build on this engagement. The next step will be to identify key themes in order to create a compelling five-year business plan.
Lorraine McQuillan, town centres & BID development manager, said: “As part of the selection process, the team successfully demonstrated their experience and professional capacity to progress the town to the next stage of the BID process. This is arguably the most important part as it involves working directly with businesses and outlining what is involved in a BID and understanding their priorities. We have already had great success with Bromley, Beckenham and Penge so look forward to working with them again. Savills place-shaping & marketing will naturally be listening very carefully to feedback as part of developing this BID proposal, with businesses having the final say via ballot in due course.”
