Trafford Centre has announced that all 41 F&B units across the centre are now fully let.
Recent lettings include The Real Greek, Franco Manca and Wing Stop, while existing brands such as Fridays and Las Iguanas have signed new 10-year leases and Wagamama is planning a refurbishment to extend the floor space it occupies.
Since taking on the asset management of Trafford Centre in spring 2021, Pradera Lateral has been committed to bolstering and enhancing the tenant mix to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The recently confirmed fully let status of F&B is testament to both Pradera Lateral’s efforts and industry relationships.
Russell Loveland, director of UK Asset Management at Pradera Lateral, said: “The F&B offering at Trafford Centre has been a big priority for us since taking on the asset management at Trafford Centre and we are delighted to now be fully let with multiple brands to be proud of on the roster. While results so far are excellent, we have no intention of pausing our activity, in fact there are some big announcements to come, with plans to introduce new offers, cuisines and designs in coming months.”
David Page, chairman of Fulham Shore said, “Since opening The Real Greek and Franco Manca at Trafford Centre, both have started trading well and we expect them to improve further to take their place among our top performing restaurant locations. The whole process has been very smooth and we’ve found the team at Trafford Centre to be dynamic, adaptable and reactive to our needs. If the right space was available, I see no reason why we wouldn’t bring another of our restaurant brands to the centre in the future.”
John Sutherland, property director at Fridays, commented: “We’re delighted to have extended our commitment to the popular Fridays site in the Trafford Centre. It’s a fantastic location and the restaurant is one of our top performers across the estate. We look forward to continuing to serve our loyal customers in the Manchester area for many more years to come.”
