Already home to a well-established traditional Market Hall, new Indiepop Salford will see the creation of a second market hub within the centre, with the focus on local, independent and pop-up retail providing a diverse range of unique products, services and grab-and-go food and drink operators aimed at the diverse population on the centre’s doorstep.
The centre already has a successful track record of integrating an indoor market format into the shopping centre having launched The Market Hall in 2019.
The Market Hall is home to a range of businesses and has a very traditional market offer, selling everything from clothing and footwear, fashion accessories, tech accessories and repairs, fruit and veg, meat, poultry and pies and an evolving lunchtime food offer.
lan Goldman, director of retail at Praxis Real Estate Management, said: “Indiepop Market Hub will provide a vibrant new place to meet, eat and shop for our visitors with a constantly evolving line up of great independents and pop ups.
“There is a great heritage of markets in Salford and we hope to attract a new generation of small businesses to the centre taking advantage of our diverse catchment, high volume footfall and affordable rents.
“We are looking for interesting, unique, forward-thinking businesses with great products and services from across Salford and beyond to join us.”
