Thistles shopping centre in Stirling has welcomed its first new retailer of the year, eurochange, to the mall, expanding the centre’s existing travel offering.
Open now, eurochange joins the centre at an exciting time as keen shoppers plan ahead for their 2024 holidays. Open seven days a week, shoppers can find the new bureau de change opposite Primark operating from 9am-5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sundays. As one of the UK’s leading foreign exchange specialists, eurochange also provides a range of financial services and products, both online and in the newly opened store.
Travel related businesses including Barrhead and Hays Travel contributed to an increase in footfall at Thistles last year and the addition of eurochange will make the holiday planning process easier for shoppers. eurochange joining the shopping centre follows the company’s growth plan to become the UK’s go-to travel money provider and builds on Thistles’ status as perfect destination for both shopping and convenience.
Gary Turnbull, centre director at Thistles, said: “Expanding our travel offering has been a focus for us within the centre and we’re excited to welcome eurochange. 2023 was a very successful year for Thistles and our current travel offering played an integral role. The addition of a notable foreign currency exchange provider like eurochange comes at a fantastic time as we see more and more shoppers planning holidays throughout the year. Looking to build on the momentum of continued growth and success we’re happy to welcome eurochange as our first new opening of the year.”
Roy McConnell, eurochange retail and property director, added: “2024 is set to be an important growth year for eurochange, so we’re thrilled to start the year by opening our new doors at Stirling’s Thistles shopping centre.
Joining our network of over 200 UK branches, eurochange Stirling Thistles will play an important role in making travel money more convenient and accessible.”
