Berlin-street food brand Döner Shack is set to open on Baker Street on March 27, and will offer 200 free kebaps a day for five days to celebrate its debut in London. The brand, which specialises in kebaps, chicken schnitzels and milkshakes is on a mission to change the perception of kebabs in the UK.
As part of the Baker Street launch, visitors will be able to grab a free kebap from March 27-31 between 12pm-2pm and experience a taste of Berlin with authentic kebaps bursting with flavour.
The 35-seater restaurant will open for indoor dining, takeaway, delivery or click & collect.
Laura Bruce, co-founder of Döner Shack, said “The concept is based on our experience of street food in Berlin. In Germany, kebaps outsell the top five fast food brands 5-1 on a daily basis. This is not only due to the fact that the kebaps taste delicious, but also that the product itself uses premium quality lean meats and the freshest of ingredients all cooked to order. And they can be enjoyed as part of your everyday diet.
“We are passionate about changing the perception of the late-night kebab scene in the UK. I believe we have created a truly exceptional place of fun and creativity for Baker Street’s diners. The energy of the surrounding area matches our brand’s ethos perfectly, and we can’t wait to give people the chance to experience our flavourful and convenient food and drink that fits perfectly in this location. Döner Shack can’t wait to officially open the doors and welcome everyone in on March 27.”
