Property industry charity, LandAid’s Steptober challenge saw 1,308 participants, across 334 teams take more than 196 million steps, raising over £102,000 to help end youth homelessness.
With participants from across the world, including 77 international steppers from Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Germany, France and beyond, it was LandAid’s biggest and best Steptober to date.
The property and real estate industry-wide challenge was powered by headline sponsor Logicor which had over 130 of its own colleagues taking part. The event also had support from regional sponsor, Dalbergia.
Steptober was capped off with a virtual prize giving event. The Blister Sisters from BNP Paribas took the award for Top Fundraising Team, having raised £2,194 for LandAid. The Top Individual Fundraiser went to Archana, also from BNP Paribas, who raised £1,466.
All money raised from the challenge will support young people experiencing homelessness across the UK, giving safety, security and opportunities that are so desperately needed.
Fundraising pages of all participants will remain open until November 18, giving plenty of time to still pledge support.
