Hammerson has announced that award-winning chicken wing chain, Wingstop, has opened its first physical restaurant in the Midlands at flagship destination, Bullring.
Founded in 1994, Wingstop’s 2,570 sq ft restaurant caters to 120 covers, with a menu featuring classic wings, boneless wings, and tenders, all with the choice of 10 sauces.
Joining Wingstop is Birmingham-born burger restaurant, Burger & Sauce, which recently launched at Bullring & Grant Central’s Link Street. The 1,200 sq ft restaurant offers the brand’s original handmade burgers, alongside a rotating selection of limited beef and chicken burger ranges, with a variety of sauces, chips, and milkshakes.
Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Hammerson, said: “Across the Bullring Estate, we are committed to delivering best-in-class food operators for our visitors to enjoy. Wingstop and Burger & Sauce fulfil this, each offering much-loved concepts with their own unique twists. Whether we add a local favourite or an international name, we take great care in ensuring a varied and high-quality offer for all.”
Tom Grogan, director of Lemon Pepper Holdings, added: “We are thrilled to be part of Birmingham Bullring and expanding on our presence in Birmingham City Centre. We are looking forward to customers trying our menu and sampling the limited edition ranges.”
