Longmartin Properties Ltd, a joint venture between Shaftesbury and the Mercers’ Company, has announced that Italian pasta restaurant, miscusi, has selected The Yards, Covent Garden, for its debut UK location and its first restaurant outside of Italy.
With 12 restaurants currently across 7 Italian cities, miscusi has now signed for a 4,190 sq ft unit at 23 Slingsby Place committing to the first phase of its international development across Europe.
The brand’s seasonal menu celebrates fresh pasta and champions biodiversity using a variety of grains and condiments that are essential to supporting the ecosystem. miscusi is due to open the doors to its restaurant within The Yards later this autumn.
In line with its sustainable mission and being committed to its new B Corp certification, once open, miscusi Covent Garden will be working towards being plastic-free and zero waste, whilst eat-out delivery packages will be 100% recyclable. The restaurant will comprise of 163 covers.
