Manchester Arndale has announced Doner Shack and Gloria Jean’s as the newest food and beverage signings at the centre, with Pizza Luxe also preparing to open.
Gloria Jean’s opened its first store in a small town outside of Chicago in 1979, now coming to Manchester more than 40 years later, with branches in more than 50 countries around the world.
Halle Place, the centre’s food hub, will welcome Doner Shack, which will sell a mix of authentic kebabs using different ingredients – including halloumi, falafel, and chilli.
Pizza Luxe is also preparing to open at Halle Place and will serve freshly made deluxe pizzas and breakfast bowls.
Scott Linard, portfolio director at M&G Real Estate, commented: “Being able to welcome a trio of new food and beverage operators is a testament to Manchester Arndale’s position as one of the leading shopping centres in the UK. The centre has remained robust and resilient during 2020 and we are confident we will continue to add to our strong F&B offering throughout 2021 and beyond.”
Co-founder and managing director of Doner Shack, said: “We want our lean high-quality kebabs to be a part of everyday life. Whether that’s a snack on the go during a busy lunch break or a fun evening with a group of friends. It is time for a new generation of street food, and we are thrilled to be leading the way.”
