Durham redevelopment welcomes new food quarter
The Food Pit, a nnew food quarter, has signed 3,500 sq ft for The Riverwalk, the £30 million redevelopment on the banks of the River Wear.
The new food hall concept is fully let, with seven food and drink operators including; Gourmet Burgers, Fish & Chips, Mano Thai, Durham Sausage Company, Bojangles coffee shop, Spread of the Med and Mr Waffle.
This mix of operators are situated around communal seating, smaller tables and a main bar and allow visitors to sample a wide range of food and flavours in one sitting.
The Food Pit will be fully open with all its operators on 22 November.

The Riverwalk is owned by Clearbell Property Partners II LP, a fund managed by Clearbell Capital LLP.
