Children’s soft play centre is eighth deal at Crown Walk Bicester this year
Soft play and party venue KidzZoo is to open at units 15-16 after agreeing a 10-year lease with LCP, which acquired the Oxfordshire-based open-air centre in January and has since introduced a raft of new tenants, signing eight deals in just six months.
Since January, Wood Green Animal Shelter, Shotz American pool bar, Diamond Nails and KidzZoo Soft Play have all moved to Crown Walk, while Biagio the Jewellers has expanded their premises. Papa John’s Pizza and a Turkish Barber are soon due to join this list Other key tenants include Vodafone, H Samuel, Boots Opticians, Warrens Bakery, Peacocks and Thomson.
Julian Diamond, retail director at LCP, said the latest raft of lettings marked a significant milestone since it acquired the centre at the beginning of the year. “It’s been an exciting few months as we’ve worked hard to attract new and diverse operators and help existing operators expand where possible in order to achieve footfall and increase dwell time,” he said.
