B&M to join line up at Central retail park in Havant
UBS Asset Management’s real estate and private markets business has secured deals which will see discount retailer B&M join the line up at Central retail park in Havant, with Aldi relocating to a new site at the scheme and Wickes reshaping its store.
B&M has agreed a new 15-year lease for a 14,2930-sq ft store at units 4 and 5 at the scheme and is due to open in early 2020. As a result of the letting to B&M, existing tenant Aldi will be relocating across the park, following the reshaping of DIY retailer Wickes, and is set to open a 19,900-sq ft store on a new 20-year lease. Wickes will remain in a 30,000-sq ft unit.
Located close to Havant town centre, Central retail park benefits from 250 free car parking spaces.
The landlord was represented jointly by Savills and Curson Sowerby Partners, B&M by Burns Property Consultants and Aldi by PKT Strategy.
