Two independent signings take St James Dover to 86 per cent let
Casual dining at St James Dover is getting a boost with the addition of two new independent restaurants that are both opening in Dover for the first time. American-inspired kitchen and bar, Hancock’s, and dessert parlour, Kaspa’s, will add further appeal to the 150,000-sq ft scheme and take it to 86 per cent let.
Hancock’s American Kitchen & Bar is taking 4,500 sq ft and Kaspa’s 2,400 sq ft in the town’s new £53.25m retail and leisure development, owned by Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets. They join existing casual dining operators Nando’s and Costa Coffee, as well as the recently-opened Burger King. The diverse leisure offer includes a six-screen Cineworld and 24- hours-a-day Anytime Fitness gym, as well as a 108-bed Travelodge and a 445 space car park.
St James is also home to top retail brands including anchor stores Next and M&S Foodhall, plus Trespass, Superdrug, The Entertainer, Shoe Zone, The Food Warehouse by Iceland and Card Factory.
Joint leasing agents for St James Dover are JLL and HRH. Additionally, JLL is retail property manager, handling day-to-day operations on site.
