New changes and brands coming to Bromley shopping centre
The Glades shopping centre has invested over £500,000 upgrading its facilities to enhance the shopper experience, coinciding with a number of store refits and new openings.
Bromley’s premier shopping destination has already seen the introduction of a new car parking system, complete with all-new machines that have the added option of contactless payments and number plate recognition technology. Accessibility around the centre is also currently being improved with a phased project underway for seven new lifts to be installed.
Elsewhere across the Glades, retailers including McDonald’s, Foot Locker, H Samuel and Café Giardino have shown their commitment to the centre with unit refurbishments.
Last week, the Glades welcomed US concept gym Orange Theory Fitness and other recent additions include Jack Wills,David Clulow and Nespresso. They will be joined this autumn by Tessuti and Colette.
Ben Notley, associate dDirector with LaSalle Investment Management, said: “We are constantly striving to attract the retailers people want to shop with, as well as offer more experiential services. What people want from a day out at a shopping centre a few years ago is much different to what’s been asked of us today, but we are working to adapt to these changes.”
