Brands commit to Eden as it celebrates its 10th birthday
House of Fraser’s store in High Wycombe’s Eden shopping centre is being saved from closure and two catering brands have committed to High Wycombe’s 850,000 sq-ft shopping and leisure facility.
Previously earmarked for closure under House of Fraser’s CVA, the store will now stay open and continue to be fully operational. In addition, ready to eat food giant Pret a Manger has opened a 3,100-sq ft store and Starbucks has relocated to a 2,200-sq ft store.
Centre director Andrew Norton said, “We’re delighted that House of Fraser has decided to retain its presence at Eden. We believe the brand fits perfectly with our catchment’s demographic profile and with our retail mix. Sitting alongside retailers such as M&S, Zara, H&M, MAC and restaurants including Nandos, Wagamama, Zizi and Bill’s, House of Fraser helps to deliver a compelling proposition for our customers.”
