New Thai Leisure Group bar concept to open in Liverpool One
Thai Leisure Group, the operator of restaurant brands Thaikhun and Chaophraya, is to trial a new format — Thaikhun Street Bar — at Grosvenor Europe’s Liverpool One. Opening in early October, the 3,0000-sq ft bar will be situated next to the Chaophraya unit overlooking Chavasse Park.
The new concept will serve a menu of cocktails using select Thai spirits, Singha draught beers, frozen alcoholic cocktails, as well as a non-alcoholic menu. The new site will also offer traditional Thai bar snacks and bowls, including pad Thai and chicken satay skewers.
Grosvenor Europe’s asset management director Alison Clegg said: “TLG’s proven success of operations at Liverpool One with its existing restaurant, Chaophraya, and the quality of the new concept, makes the new Thaikhun Street Bar a very welcome addition. Their ability to pull together a winning offer and also their willingness to adapt the model to bring something new to Liverpool One, sets them apart from the crowd.”
